What is Chicken Bot Pie?
We are Chicken Bot Pie, Minnetonka High School’s robotics team. Ever since our founding in 2009, we have been a participant in the FIRST Robotics Competition- a global competition where over 3,000 teams from 28 countries race to build the best robot possible for the yearly game.
Team 3082 Chicken Bot Pie is made up of 9-12th graders who lead everything from robot design to strategy, and we are supported by our incredible volunteer mentors who teach us new things and make everything possible.

Our Values
Although we are a robotics team, our identity goes beyond robots. We are a team that is dedicated to building up the next generation of leaders in STEM, and a key way in which we cultivate that atmosphere is through our values.

Innovation
We believe pushing the limits of engineering and thinking outside the box fosters a forward-thinking environment, carrying our team along the path of creativity.
Persistence
Persistence is a key ingredient to the Chicken Bot Pie and an important factor in achieving success. By showing resilience in the face of uncertainty, we foster a community of hard workers and creative thinkers.

Teamwork
Our team has an emphasis on collaboration and trust because we believe in everyone’s ability to contribute to the larger objective. We always strive to effectively delegate tasks appropriately and encourage leadership, because when we all work together to reach a goal, victory is that much more rewarding.
Growth
As Chicken Bot Pie, we emphasize the growth of our robot designs, team, and individuals. We recognize that we can learn from each other, fostering an inclusive team culture.

Fun
Chicken Bot Pie would be nothing without fun. It is the essential ingredient for everything we do, and it is the reason why we keep competing every year.
